TOP-HANGED sliding doors

In general, we recommend TOP-Hanged systems only for room dividers, i.e. sliding doors between rooms and room dividers.

TOP-Hanged sliding doors hang with all their weight fixed to the special upper sliding track and have no sliding tracks on the floor. The bottom track is replaced by a lower guide which is always hidden under the door. The lower guide is always hidden under the sliding door and does not interfere with walking and does not spoil the eye. However, the bottom guide limits the door’s movement distance and prevents it from wobbling.

Since TOP hanged sliding doors hang with all their weight on the supporting structure, this places demands on the strength of the supporting wall or ceiling. It is NOT recommended to attach the hanger to either the drywall or the drywall ceiling.
