“Paron Extra” sliding slats are made of 7-layer carpentry board with a top layer of 0,6mm thick natural oak wood or veneer. Compared to a standard full MDF board, a carpentry board is significantly lighter, stiffer and more durable. And, as its name suggests, its properties make it the material of choice for sliding doors and furniture.
The veneer is finished according to the customer’s wishes, using either an oiling, painting or varnishing technique. In the case of oiling, we use natural OSMO oil waxes, tinted or untinted, specially designed for wood finishing. In the case of profiles with a lacquered finish, a semi-matte lacquer is used, which gives the wood longevity and resistance to external influences. The veneer can also be stained to the desired shade before varnishing.
As standard, they are on the one hand visible wardrobe sliding doors, but on request the top and bottom wheels can be concealed in the transom profiles, which also allows them to be used as a door between rooms.
Frame width 92mm and thickness 28mm. The upper and lower slides are equipped with closed ball bearings and a spring mechanism to prevent the slides from jumping out of the lower slide. “Paron extra” sliding doors use the same special heavy-duty bottom wheels as “Paron” doors. Recommended sliding door dimensions up to 1200mm width and up to 2750mm height.
As standard, the handle is an aluminium “Paron” handle recessed into the frame profile. Alternatively, a range of wooden and aluminium handles are available.
When dividing the door inner panel, a narrow 28mm or 92mm wide spacer profile can be glued on.
For more convenient use of the doors, we also recommend a soft-stopper (door braking and closing system).
